A Couple Dudes Cookin’ Stuff Paleo Style
You are probably wondering what to cook that is healthy and yet satisfying for a hearty Thanksgiving meal.
My roommate Jake is heavy into Cross-fit and the Paleo diet. This is a growing phenomenon. I have been a cross between being too scared and lazy to actually do it. The paleo diet is something I have been trying to implement in my life.
The nice thing about the diet is that it actually provides some variety in your choices while still giving you something that works. It is a high focus on unprocessed foods. Eat the foods in their natural state to get the most nutrients out of them. There is a high focus on Protein (mostly meat), healthy fats, and vegetables. Also you are allowed to sprinkle in a variety of fruits to help with that sweet tooth craving. It is maintainable and a large enough variety that you should be able to find options in many places you go.

I am sorry if your eyes hurt from looking at the greatness below. Yes it isn’t turkey, but if you want you could interchange the two probably and I am sure it would taste great.
Survey Says: This manly meal was a delight. Almost feels like cheating, but yet you ain’t thanks to the almond meal.
The one downside is time. Unless you are going into culinary arts or like cooking for some sort of cathartic reason, this is time consuming. It is worth it because I know if I eat bad I am pushing back the clock further on getting in shape. But I also know many time management experts and health gurus like Bill Philips would say I am not being as optimal with my time. If you can find someone to cook this for you on a consistent basis, then you are probably doing yourself a solid.
