EAS Sports Nutrition
EAS: Energy-Athletics-Strength:
Getting the most out the human body-that’s what athletics and fitness are all about right? This is the mission of EAS Sports Nutrition, and they believe that their product can help you accomplish this. Their team of researchers, scientists, and all around fitness fanatics are dedicated to helping you run faster, jump higher, kick harder, in short, achieve more! Who wouldn’t want that?
Since their beginning in 1990, EAS has been committed to delivering high quality, science-based products to enhance physical performance that are both safe and effective. Today, they continue to do just that, and quite frankly are doing it better than… well, everyone else!
What Makes EAS Nutrition a Standout In the Sporting World?

It’s evident to me that EAS Nutrition is committed to doing it right. In a statement made by EAS, published in the National Strength and Conditioning Association’s Strength and Conditioning Quick Tips, it says they are the “only company whose products have been certified as safe and free of banned substances by the National Football League (NFL) and National Football League Players Association’s (NFLPA) comprehensive supplement certification program.” More than 1,200 pro football players in the United States, representing all of the NFL’s 32 team, use EAS-certified products including nutrition bars, shakes, and other products to help them achieve their nutrition goals.
100% EAS Certified Program:
Making this happen has not come without significant effort. EAS Nutrition has partnered up for 100% certified testing with NSF: Certified for Sport and HFL Sport Science.
NSF developed the program, Certified for Sport, to meet the growing demand from coaches, athletes, and others concerned about banned substances in sport. Through NSF, EAS Nutrition is able to minimize the risk that their selected supplements or sports nutrition products contain banned substances when they are taken at the recommended serving size. They have stringent guidelines that must be adhered to including product testing for banned substances and label content confirmation, formulation and label review, production facility and supplier inspections, and ongoing monitoring.
HSL Sport Science, a prominent and world renowned sports doping and control and research lab, tests products for substances that appear on the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) Prohibited List, as well as additional lists from the National Football League (NFL), National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA), and Major League Baseball(MLB). Their testing methods have been validated and accredited.
EAS: Staying Involved and Staying Ahead:
EAS has partnered up with some organizations to further their innovations in sports nutrition. The National Strength and Conditioning Association, Impact Basketball, and Athletes Performance are all groups that are committed to the development of products that boost the body’s ability to perform.
Furthermore, EAS Nutrition, has teamed up with the program “I Play Clean,” which is a program founded by Hall of Famer, Dick Butkus, whose mission is to strengthen the future of sports by encouraging and educating high school students to make the right choice when it comes to choosing proper nutrition and training instead of taking short cuts and resorting to performance enhancing drugs and steroids.
Another program that is powered by EAS is “Body for Life.” I am sure you have heard of it! It started out with a book written by Bill Phillips, “Body –for-Life: 12 Weeks to Mental and Physical Strength,” and over the years the program with the accompanying “challenge” has remained very popular. The program focuses on high intensity weight training and aerobic exercise accompanied by a balanced protein/carbohydrate diet, supplemented with EAS Myoplex.
Conclusion:
I believe EAS is committed to helping athletes and people of all fitness levels reach their potential. Even their website is completely helpful. They have a section about training with a drop down menu that lists all the possible types of training one might engage in such as aerobic, strength, power, weight management, speed, energy, etc. Once you click on your preference, EAS gives you a selection of their products that would help you most to achieve your goals in that area. No more guesswork! Check it out here.
As for athletes competing in high school, and especially collegiately or professionally, EAS appears to be the way to go! We’ve seen the controversy and heartache associated with athletes that have been stripped of medals and years and years of hard work is wasted, over substances they may not have even known were in their supplement. With a company like EAS Nutrition, athletes can rest assured that a quality company, COMMITTED to helping them get the most out of their body, has their back.
